About Me
Hi, I’m Shelby Marie. I am a Somatic Embodiment Coach and the Founder of Akouo, dedicated to creating safe spaces for deep self-connection and transformation. I became a certified 200-hr trauma-informed yoga instructor in 2016, and since have certifications in: 300-hr E-RYT, 200-hr Forrest Yoga, Primordial Sound and Meditation, Pre and Post Natal Yoga, + Birth and Postpartum Doula.
Through movement, rituals, and mindfulness, I provide tools that cultivate intuitive awareness, unwavering confidence, and full-bodied expression. I guide others to move beyond limitations, embody their authenticity, and reclaim the power of their voice and presence. My offerings empower individuals to step into their truth with clarity, courage, and alignment.

What is Somatic Embodiment?
Somatic embodiment is the practice of deeply connecting with your body’s sensations, emotions, and energy through movement, breath, and awareness. It supports the release of emotions and trauma stored in the body, allowing for deeper healing and transformation. By integrating practices like dance, yoga, and breathwork, somatic embodiment helps you move beyond the mind and into a fully felt experience, fostering authenticity, confidence, and inner harmony.

Mentorships
1:1 Transformative Mentorship
We meet 4x a month for 3-months.
Includes Access to Weekly Class + Talk Space and On Demand Library during the duration of the mentorship.
Each session is 90-Minutes and contains: Breathwork, Intention Setting, Tarot/Oracle Pull, Somatic Embodiment, and Spiritual Intuitive Coaching. The 6th session you will create a Vision Board. The 12th session will be your closing ceremony.
You will be one with your authentic self, embodied full expression, deep dive into your inner child wounds/shadows/generational wounds/parental wounds, honoring your truth + voice, harness your value + worth to exude unwavering self-confidence, and full faith in your intuition (clair cognitions)/guides/sources.
